How far does your food travel? The average American meal travels 1500 miles
to reach your plate. Shipping food around the globe adversly impacts environmental and public health. At Norris Hot Springs, we try to EAT LOCAL – our menu is locally sourced and organic, as much as possible. It is not only the right thing to do, our food is fresher and more delicious as a result. Most of the produce we offer is grown in our gardens & greenhouse or by small farmers nearby. We are happy to offer vegan options, vegetarian choices and plenty of local, grass-fed Montana meat for you carnivores!
The All Local Foods Grill is open weekends in May and September and all week in June, July and August. But we store, can and freeze our ripe, delicious garden fresh produce and offer healthy delicious soup, chili, lasagna, stuffed peppers and other great specials all winter long.

Our starter greenhouse was erected in 2007. We have plans for many more. Fruit trees, and 200 shelter belt trees, were planted in 2008. We are commited to local, organic food production using heirloom varieties of open pollinated plants. Our long-term goal is to produce 100% of the food we serve in order to protect and promote our health, your dining experience and the well-being of the planet.
